Valique (pronounced Val-I.Q.) is the residential report-building platform we built for Canadian appraisers. Not for lenders, not for mortgage sales professionals, not for file volume. It exists for appraisal professionals who research, write, and sign appraisal reports every day.

Why we put our name on it

Valique comes from Value Connect. Here's why Valique is important to us and why we think it's needed in the marketplace:

What Valique stands for

Valique carries Value Connect's five published values, expressed in a form that means something to a working appraiser:

We exist so appraisers win. On Valique the appraiser is the customer. Product decisions get made on one question: does this make an appraiser's working day better?

Your practice, your way. A sole practitioner and a thirty-appraiser firm work differently, and Valique adapts to the appraiser rather than the reverse. Your logo, your file numbers, your engagement wording, your signature.

A report that holds up. A report that comes back on review is not good enough. Industry association guidelines and recommendations are built into the workflow rather than left as something to remember at the end.

Who the customer is

Any appraiser will tell you the Authorized User is the customer of the appraisal report, and we agree. Valique, however, was made for appraisers specifically. They are the customers for this product. Valique succeeds when appraisers keep choosing it, which happens when it saves them time and their reports clear review the first time. In the end, that benefits everyone.

What Valique is not

Valique is not a replacement for professional judgment. It speeds up the mechanics of producing a report. The opinion of value, the professional judgment, and the signature stay with the appraiser, where they belong.
